- Taylor #4 Country School Re-enactments every Fall & Spring to include each 3rd & 4th grade class in Marshall County
Annual Events are fun and need your support too!

- State Museum Day - Spring
- Edel Blacksmith Shop Tours - Summer (Memorial Day-Labor Day)
- Christmas Dinner at the Binford House
Special Events arise from time to time to meet unique circumstances.
The recent showing of a new film on Country Schools, filmed partly in Marshalltown at Taylor School #4, was one such occasion. The film was produced by an Iowa couple who have several of their films shown on Iowa Public Television. A copy on DVD is available for purchase from the Historical Society. See our Products page.
